Bead & Blether is a chance for you to get together with like-minded people and learn to create beautiful jewellery in a welcoming community setting at From Loft to Loved in Sedgefield, County Durham.

On the last Tuesday of each month from 18:00 - 20:00, you'll be guided by Lindsay, a professional jeweller, to create a new seasonal project using a selection of beads and some wirework, the majority of projects resulting in jewellery or gifts.

Lindsay will introduce you to new materials, techniques and offer support throughout the session. You'll be provided with all the materials needed to complete your project and access to tools and equipment to use within the session.

You do have the opportunity to purchase additional materials and toolkits within each session. Card payments are accepted.

Refreshments and biscuits will also be included.

Important to note: these sessions will need minimum numbers to run. If these aren't achieved one week before the course starts date, you'll be informed with the option to transfer your booking to the next session or a full refund.

Important Information

READ BEFORE BOOKING

Due to the nature of the tools and conditions/hazards involved in making jewellery, we are unable to accept anyone under the age of 16. Attendees must be able to listen to and follow instructions carefully.

There will be some fiddly work involved when making jewellery, attendees should be able to have a certain level of dexterity to be able to use tools such as pliers. Please be aware that freshly manicured nails may not survive.

When you turn up for your workshop please ensure you are wearing suitable clothing, such as jeans, and no open-toed footwear. Any long hair will need to be tied up. This is for health and safety as the majority of our workshops involve the use of torches/heat and heavy tools.
